• Started the 2019 season with podium finishes at the Dominican Republic Open, the Belgian Open and the Puerto Rico Open
• Advanced to the round of 16 in the 87kg weight class at the 2019 World Taekwondo Championships
• Won bronze at the Pan American Championships in 2016 and 2018
