Remarquablement, c\u2019\u00e9tait son 4e marathon de l\u2019ann\u00e9e. En effet, avant la comp\u00e9tition \u00e0 Toronto, il a termin\u00e9 11e au marathon de Boston, remport\u00e9 le titre national du marathon et particip\u00e9 \u00e0 son premier Championnat du monde de marathon \u00e0 Moscou, o\u00f9 il a termin\u00e9 \u00e0 la 20e place. Rob a termin\u00e9 2e aux Championnats canadiens de marathon de 2014. Il a amorc\u00e9 sa carri\u00e8re de coureur en steeplechase, discipline dans laquelle il a particip\u00e9 \u00e0 la finale des Championnats de la NCAA 2007, alors qu\u2019il \u00e9tudiait \u00e0 l\u2019universit\u00e9 Colorado State. Apr\u00e8s avoir particip\u00e9 aux Championnats du monde de l\u2019IAAF en 2009, il a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de s\u2019adonner au marathon et a pris part \u00e0 sa premi\u00e8re course \u00e0 Houston, en 2011.<\/p>\n<h2>\u00c0 PROPOS DE L\u2019ATHL\u00c8TE<\/h2>\n<p>Famille : Rob vient d\u2019une famille de coureurs qui comprend son fr\u00e8re, Pete, \u00e9galement son entra\u00eeneur depuis 2012. Son p\u00e8re a particip\u00e9 \u00e0 neuf marathons et sa m\u00e8re \u00e9tait \u00e9galement bonne sur la piste. D\u00e9buts : Il a fait ses premiers pas sur une piste d\u2019athl\u00e9tisme en 11e ann\u00e9e et est devenu coureur de steeplechase au cours de son ann\u00e9e CPO (Cours pr\u00e9universitaires de l\u2019Ontario &#8211; treizi\u00e8me ann\u00e9e). Il a couru son premier marathon en 2011. Autres int\u00e9r\u00eats : Il a obtenu un baccalaur\u00e9at en histoire \u00e0 l\u2019universit\u00e9 Colorado State.
