Cheryl Pounder a fait ses d\u00e9buts olympiques \u00e0 Salt Lake City en 2002<\/a>, o\u00f9 elle a remport\u00e9 la m\u00e9daille d\u2019or avec \u00c9quipe Canada. Pounder est retourn\u00e9e aux Jeux olympiques \u00e0 Turin en 2006<\/a>, o\u00f9 elle a inscrit quatre points (deux buts, deux aides) en cinq rencontres, en route vers sa deuxi\u00e8me m\u00e9daille d\u2019or olympique.<\/p>\n

Membre du programme national f\u00e9minin de 1994 \u00e0 2007, Pounder a disput\u00e9 sept \u00e9ditions du Championnat du monde de l\u2019IIHF, gagnant l\u2019or six fois (1994, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2004 et 2007) ainsi qu\u2019une m\u00e9daille d\u2019argent en 2005. Aux Mondiaux, Pounder a totalis\u00e9 16 points en 35 matchs.<\/p>\n

Pounder a disput\u00e9 son hockey universitaire \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Wilfrid Laurier de 1995 \u00e0 1999.
