Klimkait, class\u00e9e dixi\u00e8me au monde, a seulement perdu face \u00e0 la championne olympique, Rafaela Silva. La Br\u00e9silienne a marqu\u00e9 deux waza-ari en finale pour remporter le titre de la comp\u00e9tition. Klimkait avait gagn\u00e9 ses deux affrontements pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents, mais n&rsquo;a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 en mesure de triompher une fois arriv\u00e9e au match ultime.<\/p>\n<p>Klimkait a vaincu Tamires Crude du Br\u00e9sil, la Polonaise Anna Borowska puis la Roumaine Corina Stefan en demi-finale. \u00c0 ses deux derni\u00e8res pr\u00e9sences en finale de Grand Prix, Klimkait avait \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9faite par sa compatriote Christa Deguchi, elle qui a termin\u00e9 cinqui\u00e8me \u00e0 Cancun.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_170519\" style=\"width: 3070px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-170519\" class=\"wp-image-170519 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/cdnolympic.files.wordpress.com\/2018\/10\/team-canada-jessica-klimkait-silver.jpg?quality=100\" alt=\"\" width=\"3060\" height=\"2210\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-170519\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Jessica Klimkait d&rsquo;\u00c9quipe Canada affronte Rafaela Silva du Br\u00e9sil \u00e0 la finale du Grand Prix de Cancun. \/ Sabau Gabriela, International Judo Federation<\/p><\/div>\n<p><strong>\u00c0 LIRE:<\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/develop.olympic.ca\/olympique\/2018\/05\/25\/deguchi-lemporte-sur-klimkait-dans-une-finale-toute-canadienne-au-grand-prix-de-judo-en-chine\/\">Deguchi l&#8217;emporte sur Klimkait dans une finale toute canadienne au Grand Prix de judo en Chine<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Samedi, l\u2019athl\u00e8te olympique de Rio 2016, <a href=\"http:\/\/develop.olympic.ca\/olympique\/team-canada\/catherine-beauchemin-pinard\/\">Catherine Beauchemin-Pinard<\/a>, a remport\u00e9 la m\u00e9daille d\u2019argent chez les -63 kg. Beauchemin-Pinard a \u00e9t\u00e9 invaincue jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 la finale o\u00f9 elle a d\u00fb s&rsquo;incliner devant l&rsquo;Autrichienne Magdalena Krssakova.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/develop.olympic.ca\/olympique\/team-canada\/arthur-margelidon\/\">Arthur Margelidon<\/a> a remport\u00e9 la troisi\u00e8me m\u00e9daille du Canada \u00e0 Cancun chez les moins de 73 kg. Margelidon a eu plus de difficult\u00e9 \u00e0 monter sur le podium apr\u00e8s avoir perdu son dernier match contre le Br\u00e9silien Marcelo Contini, qui l\u2019a envoy\u00e9 au rep\u00eachage.
