The Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) was greatly saddened upon hearing the news of the tragic death of luge athlete Nodar Kumaritashvili, today at Whistler Sliding Centre. The native of Borjomi, Georgia crashed on the final turn of a training run this morning. <\/p>\n
