Team Canada handball squads named for TO2015

Handball Canada on Friday named its men’s team, completing the two squads that will compete for the country at Toronto 2015.
Back on May 4, the women’s team was announced. Each squad consists of 15 players and will compete at the Exhibition Centre (Hall B) from July 16 to 25.
Canada’s men’s team played at the previous Pan Am Games and was ousted in the group stage behind eventual silver and bronze medallists Brazil and Chile.
Canadian women last saw Pan Am handball action at Rio de Janeiro in 2007.
Men’s team
Alexis Bertrand, Geoffroy Bessette-Colette, Casper Bilton, Daniel Devlin, Niklas Etter, Maxime Godin, Tyrell Johnston, Olivier Jung, Jonathan Leduc, Norbert Pavlisin, Tim Sartisson, Lyndon Suvanto, Philippe Thibeault, Alexandre Touzel, and Mark Alan Walder.
Women’s team
Kim Barette St-Martin, Nassima Benhacine, Amanda Desnoyers, Kimberley Ewanovich, Vassilia Gagnon, Myriam Laplante, Valerie Lochet, Audrey Marcoux, Abbey Perry, Catherine Poirier, Janel Rogiani, Emily Routhier, Brenna Sanderson, Taylor Sterling and Christina Arès-St-Onge.
