Yeats will wrestle for bronze at Rio 2016
Dori Yeats will battle for bronze, after defeating Buse Tosun of Turkey in Wednesday’s repechage.
Yeats stepped onto the mat looking to become the first Canadian wrestler to earn a spot in a medal bout at Rio 2016. Tosun was the first to score after forcing Yeats out of bounds. However, Yeats didn’t let her opponent’s early move set the pace of the match, picking up three points, before winning the 69kg bout 3-1.
