Lori DeGraw
Lori DeGraw is an experienced Executive and Board Director dedicated to supporting Canadian success stories. She is a federally appointed Board Director and Chair of the Governance and HR Committee of the Canada Media Fund. She also serves as Second Vice-Chair for the Destination Marketing Association of Canada; a think-tank working closely with the Tourism Industry Association of Canada and Destinations International, based in Washington D.C.
She is a media and communications specialist, founder of Canoe Productions, and worked for over 20 years as part of executive management teams responsible for business growth, brand design, technology innovation, and project creation for TV and digital distribution. Lori has enjoyed cultivating strategic partnerships with organizations such as The Walrus Foundation, Toronto Symphony Orchestra, IKEA, The Stratford Festival, the Nature Conservancy of Canada, and TED Talks. She has received a Canadian Screen Awards nomination for Best Original Program or Series produced for Digital Media –Non–Fiction, two Gemini nominations for Best Documentary and 3 Houston Gold Remi awards for the series “Motivated”; which explores the lives of elite extreme sports athletes. Lori achieved the ICD.D corporate director designation in October 2019 via the Institute of Corporate Directors at the Rotman School of Management, has a BA in Political Science from Western University, and plenty of personal passions including sports, music, arts, and culture.
