A message from our President

November 2nd, 2018

Dear Teachers,

Thank you for the important part you play in the Canadian Olympic school program, a program designed to help build a strong future generation of Canadians. We hope your students will be inspired by the program to challenge themselves, identify what is important to them, pursue their dreams and most importantly, to enjoy the journey.

All the best for the 2018-2019 school year.

Tricia Smith,

President, Canadian Olympic Committee

From the athletes to the students

Dear students,

Sports may not interest you. And that’s OK. You don’t have to PURSUE sports to learn from them. It is important, though, to PURSUE what you believe in. As Olympians, our experiences can help you do just that.

Like you, we were students too…shaping our FUTURE. This is the story of how we shaped that future, using the lessons, we gained along the way. Those lessons can help you PURSUE being who you want to be, too. Because it’s not what you accomplish in life that defines you, it’s how you decide to live it.

We really hope you enjoy reading these five stories, three videos and all the proposed activities of the 2018-2019 PURSUE SERIES!
