Biography
Brenden Morrow was a member of Team Canada at Vancouver 2010 where helped Canada win the Olympic gold medal on home ice. Morrow contributed three points (two goals, one assist) over seven games.
Morrow’s first time wearing the maple leaf was at the 1999 IIHF World Junior Championship where he totaled eight points in seven games en route to the silver medal. Morrow would go on to appear in four IIHF World Championships (2001, 2002, 2004, 2005) for Canada, winning gold in 2004 followed by silver in 2005. Morrow was also a member of Team Canada for the 2004 World Cup of Hockey where they took home gold.
Morrow’s NHL career began with him being drafted 25th overall in 1997 by the Dallas Stars. Morrow would go on to play 15 seasons in the league, 13 of them with the Stars. Morrow finished his career with 991 games played and 575 points.
Morrow was inducted to the Canadian Olympic Hall of Fame in 2012 with his teammates from the 2010 Olympic hockey team.
