Jen Gilroy
Biography
Jennifer Gilroy had her dream of playing for Team Canada sparked at age 16 when she transitioned from playing in a boys’ baseball league to the Central Ontario Girls Baseball League. At that time, she met current teammates Ashley Stephenson, Autumn Mills, and Kate Psota and after hearing their travel stories (including the not-so-pleasant ones) she knew she wanted to be a member of the national team. She got her chance in 2009 and competed at her first IBAF World Cup in 2010. She went on to be a part of the bronze medal-winning team in 2012. Thus far Gilroy’s career highlight is being named to the 2015 Pan Am Games team and getting the chance to compete at home.
