Jenna Flannigan

Biography

Jenna-Flannigan_600While growing up, Jenna Flannigan’s role models were all players on the national softball team because of their talent, dedication, commitment and passion. She never dreamed that women’s baseball would be included at the Pan Am Games and she would have the opportunity to represent Canada at a multi-sport Games. After joining the national team in 2011, Flannigan helped Canada win the bronze medal at the 2012 IBAF World Cup in Edmonton, going 4-for-4 with four runs scored in the bronze medal game. She was also named to the World Cup All-Star team as an outfielder, thanks to her .586 batting average, 17 hits and 14 runs scored, all ranking her second in the tournament. Flannigan won a national title with Team Quebec in 2011 and another with Team Ontario in 2013 when she was named top hitter of the tournament.
