Taylor Milne
Biography
Taylor Milne made his Olympic debut at Beijing 2008 where he competed in the 1500m. He had set a championship record in the distance of 3:38.03 in winning the national trials. But after missing out on qualifying for London 2012, he had to decide whether it was time to leave the sport behind. He stayed in track and field, but transitioned to the 3000m steeplechase in 2013. He set a personal best of 8:19.90 in July 2015 and competed at the IAAF World Championships that August, but did not advance from the heats. After winning the 2016 national title, he returned to the Olympic Games in Rio. Milne first represented Canada in 2006 at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships.
