Brooke Henderson had one of her best finishes of the LPGA season this past weekend in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Thanks to a final round of four under par, Henderson finished the LPGA Volvik Championship at nine under, placing her in a tie for third. Ariya Jutanugarn of Thailand won the event by finishing 15-under, capturing her third straight LPGA Tour victory.
After an impressive string of top-10 finishes, this was Henderson’s first since late April when she was in a tie for sixth at the Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic.

“Yeah, overall it was a solid week,” said Henderson following her final round on Sunday. “It’s always nice to see your name up near the top of the leaderboard and it’s been a few weeks since that happened for me, so today was definitely a solid day for me. I missed some opportunities, but I also made up for a couple here on the back nine, so overall I’m happy.”
