While the Olympics draw in eyes from all around the world, there is something special about the perspective of the photographer.
Iconic images are distributed via social and traditional media throughout the world for viewers to enjoy after they’re spotted by women and men lugging about 50 kilograms of camera equipment, jostling for position in unruly photo pits, and getting the timing just right with no room for error. They only get one moment to capture greatness.
