Tony Loria

Tony Loria is co-founder of Eight Capital with over 20 years of experience in building and managing investment banking franchises and advising a global client base focusing on corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions, corporate strategy and business innovation. Tony was previously Managing Director at Dundee Securities and Partner, Managing Director at Genuity Capital Markets prior to being acquired by Canaccord Capital.

Dedicated to the pursuit of academic and athletic excellence, Tony played for the 1988 University of Calgary Vanier Cup championship team, served as captain of the team in 1992 and was an Academic All Canadian in 1991/1992.  Tony coached at University of Calgary football program for the following eight years, committed to mentoring on and off the field.  Loria currently sits on the University of Calgary Football Alumni Board, a leading Canadian university alumni organization managing an endowment program providing significant financial assistance to the UofC Football team and its athletes. He lives in Calgary with his wife and three children.
