Alisha Tatham, a native of Brampton, ON, made her first appearance at an Olympic Games in 2012 and helped Canada reach the quarterfinals for the first time in the basketball program’s history, finishing eighth.

A 5’11 guard, Tatham made her debut with the national team in 2004 and plays alongside her older sister Tamara. She spent four years at the University of Massachusetts and played from 2004-07 with Tamara.

London 2012 marked Canada’s first women’s basketball appearance since the 2000 Sydney Games, when the team earned a top-10 finish.
