Andrew Nicholson
Biography
Andrew Nicholson was selected 19th overall in the 2012 NBA Draft by the Orlando Magic. In February 2013, he was named as a replacement to the Rising Stars Challenge during the NBA All-Star Weekend. In each of his first two seasons, he played in 75 games for the Magic. Nicholson’s Team Canada experience includes the 2013 FIBA Americas Championship where he averaged 15 points in eight games. Nicholson played collegiately at St. Bonaventure University where as a senior in 2011-12 he earned Atlantic 10 Player of the Year honours. He was the seventh player in the history of the league to win the award after having been Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Year. He was also MVP of the Atlantic 10 Tournament in 2012.
