Blake Worsley

Biography

Blake Worsley competed at the London 2012 Games as a first-time Olympian in the 200m freestyle event, finishing 17th overall. Worsley was also part of the 4x200m freestyle relay team with Colin Russell, Tobias Oriwol and Alec Page that finished 14th.

In 2010, he competed for Canada at the Pan Pacific Championships in California. Worsley qualified for the 2009 World Championships 4x200m relay team in Montreal in the 200m freestyle.

At the World Championships in Rome, Worsley swam his lifetime best performances in the 200m and 400m freestyle events. He was also part of the 4x200m freestyle relay team.

Worsley was born in Vancouver but grew up in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. He studied Marketing at the University of Denver and was named Athlete of the Year there in 2009 and All American in the 500 (yards) freestyle.
