Dusan Aleksic
Biography
Dusan Aleksic moved to Canada in 1997 and began playing water polo three years later. He first represented Canada in 2007 at the Youth Pan American Championships and joined the junior national team the next year. Aleksic moved to Calgary in 2010 to further his water polo career, which coincided with him being named to the senior national team. He had a big year in 2011, making his debut at the FINA World Championships and helping Canada win silver at the Pan Am Games in Guadalajara. Aleksic helped Canada qualify for both the 2013 and 2015 FINA World Championships and was part of the sixth place finish in the 2014 FINA Water Polo World League Super Final, matching a best ever.
