Gale Stewart
Biography
Gale Stewart has been competing internationally since 1985 when he just missed the podium with his fourth place finish at the Continental American Championships. He had another near-miss a year later at the Commonwealth Games, although he did win a gold medal in the men’s 50m rifle prone pair event. Stewart captured his first individual international medal at the 1986 ISSF World Championships where he won silver in the 50m rifle prone. In a career that has spanned three decades, he continues to be successful, winning bronze in the 50m rifle prone at the 2007 Pan Am Games. He finished 12th at the 2014 Continental American Championships.
