Jason Wurster
Biography
Jason Wurster has been one of Canada’s top pole vaulters for a decade, winning the national title from 2005 to 2007 and again from 2010 to 2012. He finished second in 2013 and 2014. Wurster was a CIS Champion in 2008 and 2010. He competed at the Summer Universiade in 2007, 2009 and 2011. He tied with teammate Shawnacy Barber to win silver at the 2013 Jeux de la Francophonie. Wurster’s other multi-sport competition experience includes the 2010 Commonwealth Games and 2011 Pan American Games. He set a personal best of 5.60m indoors in March 2013.
