Justin Rhode made his Olympic Games debut in 2012 and competed in the shot put event where he did not record a measurement after finishing second at the 2012 nationals.
Rhode received his Canadian citizenship on November 1, 2011 and in May 2012, he was ruled eligible by the IAAF to represent Canada at the 2012 Olympic Games. Born in the U.S., he trains in Kamloops, B.C. with teammate Dylan Armstrong.
