Kevin Graham
Biography
Kevin Graham is the second longest tenured player on the senior national team, having first joined in 2004. In that time, he has played in five straight FINA World Championships (2005-13), helping the Canadian men to their best ever result of eighth place in 2009. He has participated in two Pan American Games, winning bronze at Rio 2007 and silver at Guadalajara 2011, where he was the tournament’s leading scorer with 15 goals on 33 shots. In between, Graham made his Olympic debut at Beijing 2008. Graham has played professionally in Australia, Montenegro and Hungary.

Family: Parents Jim and Sylvia Graham… Brothers Ryan, Scott, David, Adam… Getting into the Sport: Started playing water polo at age 8 because he loved being in the water and competing in team sports… Outside Interests: Will be re-enrolling at the University of Calgary in the fall of 2015 after an eight-year hiatus… Enjoys reading, coffee, crosswords, spending time at the beach with family and friends… Odds and Ends: Favourite motto: “Be yourself; everyone else is already taken”… Role model is Peter Biros, three-time Olympic gold medallist from Hungary and a tireless competitor… Always does a crossword a few hours before every game… Always travels with his travel wallet and a pewter Canadian Goose pin… Nickname: KG…
