Getting into the sport: Started running at age 9, and competing at age 12… Drawn to the sport because she enjoys being fast and winning. Loves working hard and the feeling of accomplishment after a workout… Had her Olympic dream sparked when first representing Canada at the Youth Commonwealth Games… Outside Interests: Attending Colorado State University… Working towards a career as a dental hygienist… Enjoys barbequing and being outdoors with friends and family. Likes to cook big meals for her roommates… Odds and Ends: Biggest inspiration have been her parents and grandparents who always watch her compete whether online or in person.
