Linden Vey

Biography

In his Olympic debut at PyeongChang 2018, forward Linden Vey helped Team Canada win the bronze medal. In the leadup to PyeongChang 2018, Vey played for Team Canada at the Channel One Cup and Karjala Cup in 2017. Vey played his junior hockey with the WHL’s Medicine Hat Tigers from 2006 t0 2011. He was selected in the fourth round, 96^th overall, by the Los Angeles Kings in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. After two full seasons with the Kings’ AHL affiliate, the Manchester Monarchs, Vey made his NHL debut in 2013-14, contributing to their run to the Stanley Cup. Vey joined the Vancouver Canucks for the 2014-15 season. Over the next two years, he split his time between the AHL and NHL, suiting up for both the Canucks and Calgary Flames as well as their AHL teams. He has appeared in 138 career NHL games. In 2017-18, Vey played with the KHL’s Astana Barys for 50 games before joining Zurich SC of the Swiss League.
