Biography

Martin St. Louis is a two-time Olympian who won gold as a member of Team Canada at Sochi 2014. He had previously competed at Turin 2006.

St. Louis also wore the maple leaf at the 2008 and 2009 IIHF World Championships, winning silver medals, as well as a gold medal at the 2004 World Cup of Hockey.

In his NHL career, St. Louis played 1134 regular season games, scoring 391 goals and 1033 points. In 2003-04 he won both the Hart Trophy and the Lester B. Pearson Award as the league’s most valuable player. He was also that year’s winner of the Art Ross Trophy as the NHL’s leading scorer. He captured another Art Ross Trophy in 2012-13. St. Louis won the Stanley Cup in 2004 with the Tampa Bay Lightning.
