Brenna Sanderson
Biography
Brenna Sanderson has wanted to play for Canada since being asked to try out for the junior national team. She was part of the Canadian team that finished third in the 2014 North American Zone IHF Trophy. In 2013-14 she played in Denmark for five months at the Aahrus Handball Academy. In 2014 she scored 44 goals in 10 games to help her club team Gummersbach HC to a first place finish in the Alberta League.

Family: Parents Blair and Kelly… Older sister Kendre… Getting into the Sport: Started playing handball at age 15… Her junior high volleyball coach played handball for the provincial team and told her she should try out… She then got the chance to compete internationally and at the national championships… Outside Interests: Pursuing Bachelor of Science at Grant MacEwan University… Enjoys travelling, going out for evening runs and reading… Collects keychains from her travels…
