Geoffroy Bessette Colette
Biography
Geoffroy Bessette Colette was an important figure in Canada’s fifth place finish at the 2011 Pan Am Games in Guadalajara. He played more minutes than anyone else and was second on the team in goals with 20 scored on 34 shots. He previously played on the Pan Am Games team at Rio 2007. Bessette Colette had also been a member of Canada’s last world championship team in 2005, scoring 20 goals on 32 shots as Canada finished 23rd. He plays in the Quebec D1 League with CHAC, for which he was the second-leading scorer this past season, scoring 61 times and adding five penalty goals as CHAC finished second.
