Biography

Jonathan Malo was a member of Team Canada that won gold at the 2011 Pan Am Games in Guadalajara where he was the starting shortstop. Malo won bronze medals with Canada at the 2009 and 2011 WBSC Baseball World Cup events and also represented Canada at the World Baseball Classic in 2013 and 2017. He was selected in the 43rd round by the New York Mets in the 2003 MLB Draft and spent seven seasons with the organization before embarking on a five-year career with the Québec Capitales of the Can Am League from 2012-2016. He has played in games sporadically with the Capitales from 2017-2019.
