Biography

• Represented Canada at the Nanjing 2014 Youth Olympic Games and finished fifth in the 400m
• Won bronze with the 4x400m mixed relay team at the 2015 IAAF World U18 Championships where she also finished fourth in the 400m
• Was a member of the victorious USC Trojans 4x400m relay team at the 2018 NCAA Championships
• Among USC’s all-time top-10 in the indoor 400m

A Little More About Kyra

Getting into the Sport: Started running cross-country in grade three and began competing track in grade five… Outside Interests: Majoring in Communications at USC… Would like to pursue a career as a college coach… Enjoys going on road trips, exploring parts of the city, playing guitar, piano, drums… Odds and Ends: Collects key chains from destinations she travels to for competitions… Is close friends and training partners with a number of USA sprinters… Favourite motto: “Live in the moment”…
