Marie-Josée Arès-Pilon
Biography
Marie-Josée Arès-Pilon fought through a lower back injury to win a bronze medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, four years after she just missed the podium in Delhi. She had previously won silver at the 2012 Commonwealth Championships. Arès-Pilon, who trains twice a day in a home gym in her garage, won national titles in 2005 and 2015 to go with national bronze medals in 2006, 2011 and 2012. She competed at the IWF World Championships in 2011 and 2013.
