• Won bronze in the freestyle male U17 category at the 2016 World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships
• Won team silver at the 2018 Pan American Games Qualification Event, helping to clinch a spot at the Lima 2019 Pan Am Games for Team Canada

Getting into the Sport: Started taekwondo at age 10 after struggling in team sports where he could not completely control his own success… In 2014 had the chance to train with his idol Charlie Chong in Calgary… Outside Interests: Enjoys playing video games during his time away from training… Odds and Ends: Listens to upbeat music before competition to psych himself up… Collects magnets for his mom from locales where he competes so she can be part of his journey even when she stays at home… Favourite motto: “Take this opportunity because it might never come again”…
