• Made his world championship debut in 2018
• As a freestyle wrestler, won team gold at the 2008 North American Indigenous Games
• Switched to Greco-Roman wrestling in 2014 and began training with five-time Olympian Doug Yeats
• Three-time Canadian champion

Getting into the Sport: Started wrestling at age 14 at Ithaca High School in upstate New York… Outside Interests: Graduated from American University in Washington, DC in 2013… Returned home to Akwesasne, a Mohawk Reservation on the New York-Quebec border, to work as an administrator for Akwesasne’s tribal court… Odds and Ends: Twin brother Thomas is also a member of the Pan Am Games wrestling team… Aims to encourage the dreams of young indigenous athletes as a mentor…
