Biography

Adam Zaruba is a powerhouse on the pitch, with size and speed that make him a lethal scoring machine. He started playing for Canada in 2013 before having his debut season on the World Rugby Sevens Series in 2014-15 when he played in all nine legs. He has since played more than 150 games for Canada, scoring more than 200 points. Zaruba made highlight reels around the world after making an amazing one-handed catch off a restart and running it straight in for a try during the Paris leg of the World Series in 2016. In addition to his impressive rugby career, Zaruba has also dabbled in the NFL as a tight end. He attended training camp with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2017 and 2018 but was cut both years, putting his focus squarely back on rugby.
