Biography

Nicolas Constantin-Bicari helped Canada made history in winning gold at the 2010 Junior Pan American Championships. He had joined the senior national team a year earlier and helped the men to a best-ever eighth place finish at the 2009 FINA World Championships. He also competed at the world championships in 2011,2013, 2015 and 2017. At the 2011 Pan Am Games in Guadalajara, Constantin-Bicari was ranked sixth in goals scored, with 10 of his 21 shots reaching the back of the net, as Canada won the silver medal. He went on to be the second highest scorer at the 2014 FINA Water Polo World League Super Final, recording 16 goals in six games. Shortly thereafter, he signed a professional contract with Jug Dubrovnik, a revered Croatian club that is the equivalent of one of the NHL’s Original Six teams. Since then, he has played professionally in France, Australia, and he will join FTC in Hungary next season. He helped Canada win bronze at the 2015 Pan Am Games in Toronto.
